The Caretaker's Riddle is a quest in Torment: Tides of Numenera.

Start

• If you helped Klin'Kar at the beginning of the Valley of Dead Heroes, he will give you this quest.

Walkthrough

• You will need to speak with Motley inside The Necropolis. In order to get inside you will need to step into the Light near Phoenix and then go into the area adjacent to the walkway, behind Tantalum. Speak with Motley and he will ask you to interrogate the Memoralists. Talira Kyo will give you the code if you tell her that you don't want anyone else to get hurt. Go deactivate the Whisperlock to complete the quest.
• You can then Intimidate Motley and his crwe will run away, you can let them kill the prisoners or you can fight them.

Results

• 25 XP for deactivating the Whisperlock

Notes

• You only have one chance at getting the code from Talira.
• The code to the Whisperlock is "Guni"
